Best Apps for IVF and IUI: What Each One Is Actually For

The best setup for IVF or IUI is usually a few apps, each doing one job well: one for your cycle, one for your medications, and one to coordinate the steps, appointments, bills, and people. No single app does all of it, and that's okay.

What happened to us

We started out juggling seven tools, from spreadsheets to group texts to a shared Google Calendar. Here's the full list, and what we'd keep. Flo and Gina's Oura ring were worth keeping. What we were missing was something to manage everything around treatment, so we built it.

Which apps help with IVF and IUI?

AppBest forWhat it does
Berry FertilityMedications and your treatment protocolOrganizes medications and dosing instructions, sends dose and appointment reminders, and logs symptoms and lab results
EmbieTracking results across cyclesCalendar and reminders, tracks labs, follicle counts, and embryo reports across cycles, plus medication info and a community
FloPeriod and cycle trackingTracks periods and cycles, useful before and between treatments
Oura ringSleep and health dataTracks temperature trends, sleep, and heart rate
Google CalendarSeeing appointments togetherA shared calendar. WeFertility syncs appointments to it
WeFertilityCoordinating everything around treatmentTasks with owners, bills and reimbursements, documents attached to each visit, and your partner, donor, and support people with control over who sees what

How do you choose the right fertility apps?

If you need...Look at
Dose reminders and protocol instructionsBerry Fertility or Embie
To compare lab results across cyclesEmbie or Berry Fertility
Period and cycle tracking before treatmentFlo or Clue
To split the work with your partner and support peopleWeFertility
To track bills, insurance gaps, and reimbursementsWeFertility
To keep agreements and records you can share fastWeFertility

Can WeFertility replace a medication tracker?

No, and it isn't trying to. WeFertility doesn't handle medical data or give medical insights. It organizes the work around treatment: who's doing what, what's due, what it costs, and where your documents are. If you need dose reminders, a medication app like Berry Fertility is a good fit alongside it.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best app for IVF?

It depends on the job. For medications, look at Berry Fertility or Embie. For cycle tracking, Flo or Clue. For coordinating tasks, appointments, bills, and documents with your partner, WeFertility. Many families use more than one.

Is there an app to track IVF costs?

Yes. WeFertility tracks bills, spending by category, and pending reimbursements, and lets you export your expenses for tax time.

Can my partner use the same IVF app?

In WeFertility, you can invite your partner, known donor, and support people, assign tasks, and control who sees what.

This is our experience, not medical or legal advice. Talk to your clinic, attorney, or tax professional.
